With a culture that empowers our staff and branches, we are passionate about supporting rural communities, improving farm profitability, and ensuring the sustainability of agriculture at every level.

The Role:

We are seeking a Graduate IT Support Technician to join our IT team based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This is a great opportunity for someone just starting out in their IT career who is eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills in a supportive environment. You will work closely with the National IT Manager and broader technical team to help maintain, enhance, and secure our IT environment.

This role suits someone who communicates well and works effectively as part of a team. Our team is a close, collaborative group, so we are looking for someone who builds good working relationships and contributes positively to the team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are just as important to us as technical ability.

Delta Agribusiness is committed to staying at the forefront of technology, which requires constant monitoring, adaptation, and improvement. In this position, you will provide day to day IT support across the business while learning to assist with our Azure environment (AD, SQL, RDS, Backup), cybersecurity posture, communications, and IT hardware. Full training and mentorship will be provided.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, explain things clearly, and build good relationships with people across the business
  • A qualification in Information Technology, either a diploma or degree, completed or nearing completion
  • Some exposure to (or a keen interest in) Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
  • A genuine enthusiasm for technology and a strong willingness to learn
  • A basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, or eagerness to develop this
  • A proactive, team oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and a willingness to get involved in projects
  • Current driver's licence

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to end users, with guidance from the wider team to ensure timely resolution and a strong user experience.
  • Communicate clearly with staff across the business, building trust and a positive support experience.
  • Help maintain and support endpoints, servers, and cloud systems across the business.
  • Learn to assist in the administration of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments (including Azure Virtual Desktop and Intune).
  • Contribute to IT projects, system enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements.
  • Support system upgrades, deployments, and integrations.
  • Maintain clear documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Growth and Development

We believe in investing in our people. This role has genuine career progression for those who show initiative and put in the effort, and we will back you with the training, mentorship, and opportunities to advance. Our commitment to development does not stop once you have found your feet. We are proud to keep investing in our people's growth throughout their careers, whatever direction that takes.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package
  • A clear path for career progression, with your effort rewarded
  • Ongoing investment in training and development at every stage of your career
  • Structured mentorship and on the job training to set you up for success
  • Exposure to a broad range of IT systems and projects
