The Wagga RSL Motel & Apartments are seeking a hands on, guest focused individual who thrives on variety, takes pride in presentation, and enjoys delivering exceptional service.

Set in the heart of Wagga, the RSL Motel & Apartments offers a variety of quality accommodation for both leisure and corporate travellers. Promising a relaxed stay, outstanding customer service, modern décor and high-quality facilities.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. You'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Motel, including but not limited to:

• Managing day-to-day Motel operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from check-in to check-out.

• Overseeing rate management, OTA listings, room inventory, and the channel manager to ensure occupancy and revenue targets are met.

• Leading guest experience across all touchpoints — pre-arrival, in-stay, and post-stay communication.

• Working closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and linen suppliers to uphold our high presentation standards.

• Coordinating with the broader management team to ensure smooth cross-department communication.

• Handling rostering, training, and supervision of the reception and housekeeping teams.

• Supporting the General Manager with operational reporting specific to the Motel.

About You:

• You’re a hands-on leader — strategic, proactive, and people-focused, with strong operational instincts and a steady approach to problem-solving.

• You've got strong interpersonal and communications skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse range of guests and stakeholders.

• You have high level computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications, property management systems, and online travel agencies.

• You're willing to be available outside of regular hours to respond to emergencies.
