Help strengthen connections between culture, community and Country while contributing to a more inclusive and collaborative future for Landcare across the Murray region.
Location: Flexible within the Murray NSW region
Employer: Holbrook Landcare Network on behalf of Murray Landcare
Applications close: 11:59 pm, Wednesday 1 July 2026
Do you have strong connections to community, a passion for Country, and a desire to create positive change?
Murray Landcare is seeking two motivated and community-minded Aboriginal people to join our team as part time Regional Aboriginal Landcare Coordinators (RALC). This is a unique opportunity to help strengthen relationships between Aboriginal communities and Landcare, support community-led initiatives, and ensure Aboriginal perspectives are embedded in environmental and land management activities across the Murray region.
About the Role
As a Regional Aboriginal Landcare Coordinator, you'll be a connector, collaborator and cultural champion.
Working across the Murray region, you will build meaningful relationships with Aboriginal communities, Landcare groups and partner organisations. You'll help create opportunities for cultural knowledge sharing, support inclusive engagement, and contribute to projects that benefit people, Country and community.
No two days will be the same. One day you may be attending a community meeting or yarning circle, and the next you could be on Country supporting a Landcare project, connecting people across networks, or helping build cultural understanding within Landcare organisations.
What You'll Be Doing
Building strong connections between Landcare and Aboriginal communities.
Supporting meaningful engagement, collaboration and co-design.
Facilitating conversations that strengthen understanding and partnerships.
Supporting community-led projects and initiatives.
Helping Landcare organisations build cultural awareness and competence.
Sharing cultural knowledge and promoting Aboriginal perspectives in Landcare activities.
Working with a supportive network of Landcare Coordinators and Aboriginal Landcare professionals across NSW.
Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on project outcomes.

Enjoy building relationships and working with diverse groups of people.
Are organised, self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities.
Have an interest in Landcare, environmental stewardship, sustainable agriculture or caring for Country.
